No, the fastest WiFi connection is 802.11n with a max speed of 540Mbps.

For home use, nope...

But there are variation of wireless available for interconnecting offices that are faster then 1GB/s... I believe it is an 802.13 standard. About 1 year ago, we opted to do this for our backup connections but it never got funding....
