I have a shuffle charger (home and car chargers) (not apple brand) and I got a new nano for Christmas. Do I need to get a new charger to charge my nano or will this one work fine?

I have a nano and my step sister has a shuffle and my charger dosen't work for her shuffle

I doubt that you can use the same charger for both the nano and the shuffle.

the shuffles charger is smaller than the nano's you need a new charger

not likely. the bottom part of the shuffle is different from the nano.
