The symptoms vary from person to person. When I was pregnant, I suffered from nausea for the first five months. Often, soreness of your breasts is one of the earliest indications. There are many websites that outline the changes your body goes through over the course of a pregnancy.

Here's a list of early symptoms: http://www.pregnancy-calendars.net/pregnancy-symptoms.html

People don't seem to talk much about the extent to which your body changes during and after pregnancy--everything from increased tooth cavities to tendon problems. But, I'd do it all over again in an instant. Being a mom is the best fun ever!

you make it sound like you are ill. Pregnancy isn't symptomatic. But you will notice a decrease in menstrual blood flow to almost nothing if not nothing, your breasts will begin to increase in size, as will your stomach to accomadate the growing fetus. You may experience a growth in appetite and eat more than you used to. Lactation will begin as you near the end.
