I can't say there's ONE fav', but I'm torn between Desperation and Dreamcatcher. There is SOOOO much detail in his descriptions of characters' personalities, feelings and the surroundings that I can always imagine that I'm actually IN the book as everything is taking place. I read Dreamcatcher years before it was made into a movie and though the movie was well done, nothing can touch the original writing.

Salem's Lot was my favorite. And I must agree with wax Wizard and the glass I couldn't wait for it to end one long flashback.

I agree the Mr. 51, The Stand was amazing! I still think of the scene where the guys killed the pig and couldn't eat it because it was such a horrendous job. I live on a farm, so I appreciated Grandma Moses; was that her name? She was my favorite character.

I have to say It and only because it scared the sh*t out of me. I had to sleep with the lights on for a month after I read it.
