Operating a Q-Cat?

I was digging through some of my old supplies and came across a Q-Cat. I was wondering if anyone knew of an old code that would help me "register" it (since the company that manufactured it went bancrupt) so I can use it.

The site that performed the bar code scan lookups went down quite a few years ago. I don't think you can use it like you did when you first got it (I've been trying to get mine to work again too). You can hack it so that it can be used as a regular barcode scanner though:
