What's the best cell phone service to use in Mexico?

I need an American telephone number for business. But, I live in a border town in mexico. So far Nextel is working pretty good. My customers can call me on the American number. But, it is so expensive. I don't want to sacrifice quality for cost. However, if I can get a good company at a good price it's a plus.

I took a trip to Mexico about 4 years ago, and I used my Verizon phone. Keep in mind that any phone used in Mexico must be analog, not digital as most phones are today. The folks over at Verizon were very helpful, maybe go talk to them.
