I go to orlando every year and i find it better to rent a hotel on international drive that has a shuttle bus if you are not wanting to rent a car. I-drive has everything you need in food, shopping for souveneirs, and also shopping in general. there are good places to eat and you can save money if you get on the i-ride. the i-ride is a little trolley bus that runs on international drive, you can purchase a 5 day pass for 7 dollars and ride all you want to. kids under 12 ride free with a paying adult. also, if you stay at a hotel that has shuttle service, you can catch the shuttle to which ever theme park you want to go to. and when you ride the i -ride make sure to get one of those little brochures, the brochures has coupons for almost every resturant and store on i -drive. this book will help you save a few dollars.
the i-ride can also take you to the outlet malls and the regular mall using this i-ride. and if you are going to stay in orlando a while and would like to visit a few theme parks, the best thing to do is purchase the park hopper pass, and you can enjoy the parks whenever you feel like it. sometimes i go early in the morning then go back to the hotel for a nap then later go back to the park for the rest of the nights festivities. and let me tell you one more thing, if you can wait until the month of February, it is dead in Orlando, and your kids will be able to ride most of the rides in each theme park without the wait. if not February, try September, it is pretty fair around that time as well. any other month is too darn hot or just too darn packed. oh and yeah some of those deals include food but you will find it better to go to Ponderosa Resturant. the kids eat free and you can get 50% off of your meal if you get that book off of the I-ride. or some hotels' key is a coupon to Ponderosa. and if you know the date you are going try to go to southwest.com and book your flight as soon as you see one for like $49 each way. i always find a flight for under $75 each way. if you take your time, you will find great deals. Try this hotel called BestWesternMovieland. it's pretty cool. I hope you can use this info, i saved a bunch by waiting for the right time to book stuff. PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE.

you can purchase a taxi from the airport for $40 through mere's transportation to a hotel on international drive also.

BOOK EVERYTHING AT ONCE!!

It is more expensive to stay on Disney property, but the hotels are cool. It is less expensive to stay off property, try the Marriot Grande Vista. I would get the park hopper ticket for all of you, that way if you are each wanting to go somewhere different, the adults could take kids to different places, while you relax someplace elsewhere. The packages, I believe do include food services called the Dinner Plan

You can book your hotel and tickets with the Disney Dining Plan directly with the Walt Disney World Resort. The dining plan is an excellent way to feed your whole family and save money on food. This only works though if you plan to stay at a Disney Resort.

If you'd like to stay off property, and save a bit of money, I recommend staying at the Best Western Lakeside, located on Hwy 192, just minutes from the Disney Resort. It is a great hotel with several sparkling pools, a miniature golf course, great restaurant, bar and grill, arcade and more! And they are really inexpensive. My husband and I stayed there the first week of December for about $60 a night.
You can purchase discounted park tickets through AAA (if you are a member) or at your local Disney Store.
You can also save money by purchasing food at a local grocery store to snack on in the parks. You can keep food cool in your fridge at the Lakeside Inn.

Its always cheaper to stay off property.....you can purchase a package that includes food, its called the dining plan. Id not bother with the park hopper options unless you have a very limited amount of time to stay, usually it takes a whole day for each park. I stayed off property last year, drove and purchased tickets at the gate, this year i will be spending more staying on property and using the dining plan. There are tons of sites to help you get and idea of what will work best for your family. here are some:

My brother is there right now as we speak. He advised me not to stay in the Disney hotels because their more expensive. The other nearby hotels cost less and they all have shuttle service to and from the parks. Park hopper is a great savings as well! Shop around before you make your trip and find out about discounts and coupons.
You and your family enjoy your trip!!

My husband works at a local AAA office (in Michigan) we are actually planning a trip to Disney in February and bought into a package, it's much cheaper. Oh and get the dinning option, check with your local AAA office.

Have fun!

Disney international is larger than Disney Land, so i might think of it would be greater costly. i've got in simple terms been to Disney international so because it truly is all i'm able to remark on. in case you intend on staying at between the Disney inns, it would be suited to e book all of it on line on the Disney internet site. you may get a "Magic Your way" kit which consists of hotel & tickets plus eating plan & transportation techniques in case you pick those. Staying on sources is super. you are able to take a bus to all the parks so which you do no longer could desire to agonize approximately using to each of them. We in simple terms have been given lower back from Port Orleans Riverside and it grow to be an extremely effective hotel. Reservations are considerable in case you pick to visit a take a seat eating place whilst there. you may make reservations beginning at one hundred eighty days in the past you arrive. call as quickly as you hit that one hundred eighty day mark, particularly in case you pick to get in at between the truly effective places. Reservations fill up directly! have relaxing on your holiday!
