I am a gay bottom. I am generally masculine and have been told that I pass as a masculine st8 type of guy. Some times I think or behave less masculine which is ok for me. I am what I am. Your question should have read " What behavior is committed to label oneself effeminate over perceived masculine types?"

hell no I am effeminate and I don't bottom, but the other comments about that being a stereotype are definately true. I like my bottom men masculine, but most masculine guys don't like a feminine top.

I am kind of effeminate, in my realtionship I clean the house, make dinner, decorate, shop all that stuff. My mate cuts the lawn, changes the oil, brings in more money all that kind of stuff.

However I am always ALWAYS the top and I do a darn good job of it you better believe!

No not that I know of I think it's a stereotype like any other. I know plenty of gay guys and you can't tell their preference by their appearance.
