I've bought a brand new Dell Latitude C400 Ultraportable laptop, everything is fine except that the battery duration is too short (just 1.5 hour). Can I bought a longer duration battery for this laptop? Or do I have to use only this short duration type of battery of Dell Manufacture?

Thanks Everyone

im sure you can find a 9-cell battery for that model on ebay. the thing you might want to do when you get your new battery is... when you are at home or somewhere where you have the ac adaptor, take the battery off and just work on ac power. leaving computer connected to the outlet while the battery is on overcharges the battery which makes it not last as long. once a month you should let the battery go to 0% and just let the computer shut down by itself and then do a full charge. the battery gets confused when it charges if its not at 0%.

Dell might carry a larger cell battery for that model, but I'm pretty sure they don't have one for the 400 that's cheap. I work on those all day @ work.... Our corporation is actually switching the dell 400's & 600's for newer HP models, because of the short battery life of the 400... I suggest buying a second battery that has a larger cell..

You can buy a separate battery that you plug into it that can extend the battery life up 8 hours. I would take a look at Compusa first then maybe go online and find one there to save yourself some money, Newegg.com has been a pretty good vendor to go through.

is it new and under warranty? if it is and you want a longer duration battery then you may have to purchase it from dell to maintain your warranty. if not shop the net and find a battery for your computer that is a high capacity. i get about 3.5 hours from mine, also set you power management to max battery, it will limit unused features and min power to other stuff.

you could replace the battery but it really depends on how old it is if your looking after the battery, you can normally get higher capacity bateries, but are expensive. as 1.5 hours is not long i would ask dell to look at it.

confident, the Protestant and Evangelical church buildings do focus on the word of God and carry forth for longer than Catholics. there's no longer something incorrect with having longer homilies yet i think of it could mean that some Catholics, and others, could become bored! The priest has to attempt and communicate concerning the word of the Lord to many diverse human beings and of each and every age in a constrained time. it is not common to do and that i consistently pray for him and for those listening. greater often than not the Homily will strengthen some coaching in the Gospel that has been examine and if we pray, there'll consistently be something for us to take domicile. this is barely a commence, we are able to examine the Gospel lower back at domicile and different Scriptures. we are able to in line with possibility take part in bible learn communities in our parish. i think of in the Catholic Church that the the remainder of the Mass takes precedence, that we focus on the Consecration and Holy Communion. As a Reader at Mass, i be attentive to that we are to feed on the word of the Lord to boot as on receiving him in the Holy Eucharist. God bless
