I agree with you that it stinks. As a student I remember having projects to complete over holiday breaks and I hated it. As a teacher I never assign work over a holiday break because I don't want to do school work over the holiday so I figure my students don't want to either. This is probably a bit simplistic but I can't think of anything so important that it needs to be completed during the holidays.

i also have 2 projects. it really does suck, and my break ends in less than a week and i have not started on either one.

yeah that does suck, but im in the same boat. i have to create a DBQ for my AP class. creating one is a lot harder that actually doing one.
