Hey I hear ya sista....I can't stand that sheeot. I don't report anyone but we should be able to see who reports..yahoo won't allow it cause then people would report whoever reported them. I think the report button should be bannished period!!!!

Yes, but people who misinterpret things on this website are easy in their blatant abuse of the report button usually. Though I get reported quite a lot like everyone else, I choose never to report even the most offensive questions or answers - I'm not so far up my airse anyway - and I hope many others do like me.
It's the real world though - give people the ability to anonymously violate others and they will, if only to get a kick out of it.

there's plenty of good postings here, but even if that garbage was meant for a laugh, if you laugh over crap that brings images of violence and cruelty such as that pervert was posting, then you have a problem as well. should yahoo tell that sick **** who reported him (and i'm sure i wasn't the only one to do so), yea, sure, go ahead! give him access to my e-mail + my home address too, while they're at it!

I agree that people report for dumb reasons but I don't think they should give the names because people will try to take revenge.
Although, the releasing of your name to the person you report probably will stop the sensless reporting for dumb reasons.

Well if someone is offended by somthing you say they have the right to report your, freedom of speech, and if you in it for the points, thats a violation, you are not supposed to be gaming, this is a web site, to interact and to help people out.

I've never reported anyone, but in any case it is not that serious. My family, my job and my bills are of my utmost importance. I only come on Yahoo to answer questions and laugh. If i get reported, oh well. It wont make or break me. Its not that serious.

The question should be read before deleted.
Those who give a thumbs down need to answer and say why.
People need to know how to tell the times to give "thumbs down" and to click "Report Abuse" apart.

But I do know what you're saying - it's a bit harsh they seem to just delete questions / answers without even reading them sometimes. And on the other hand they leave questions / answers on here that are beyond offensive.

what does it matter...you loose a few points, big deal....It's not like your gonna loose your house or family...most people just don't have anything better to do..and if they do report you then you must have said something they are quilty of....if you let people see they bother you they will do more...
