go to www.wincustomize.com & click the tab at the top that says Software, download CursorXP (it's free as well as spyware free).
then just install it, you'll be able to change your cursor to any of the ones that came with the program, or even download new ones from WinCustomize.

You can get lots of SAFE FREE cursors at www.cursormania.com. Yhey have a huge variety of curors that are all free and safe. Downloading cursormania is free

Stick with what you've got on your system for safety. Go into Control Panel - Printers & other Hardware - Mouse to explore the options already available to you.

When it comes to cursors or smileys or screensavers, the words 'free' AND 'safe' sorrowfully enough don't go hand in hand....

don't use them.
99% of them come with ads or other silly stuff you don;t want on your pc.
whats wrong with the default windows cursor? does the job just fine.
