I washed and dried my pillows as per the tag and now I have lumpy pillows. Is there anything I can do, other than live with it or buy new?

Sounds like you are going to need new ones. I don't wash them, I use a anti-allergy cover and then wash that. Once I need a new pillow I toss it and buy a new one. Even on a hand wash cycle them seem to turn out lumpy. A lot of places have designer pillows on sale (rather than going to a dept store).

This may sound silly, but try sitting on them to flatten them back out. I occasionally run my pillows one at a time through the dryer on air fluff to fluff them back up

I was told a long time ago to change out my pillow twice a year.

When you dry them (not when you wash them) throw in a couple of tennis balls. This really works..it will beat the lumps out. I do this all the time. Hope this helps.

I think is time to replace them with new ones. I wash mines too but after a while you need to replace them.
(wear and tear) Unless you do not mind the shape.

When you wash them, try putting some tennis balls in with them. Sounds crazy but works well.
