Hormones are always to blame! They can cause your back to ache before you really have a big belly or extra large breasts. As far as your breast changing sizes...my personal experience with my first pregnancy , I went from a 34 D/36 C to a 38 D while pregnant. After I breast fed they went down to a 36 D, which I've been. I'm now pregnant with my second and I just bought some maternity bras as my breast are just a little more full for my regular bras. However, both bras I got were still 36 D. I hope they don't grow anymore! OMG -lol (my husband is really enjoying them though:)

Yes..bacl pain during pregnancy is very normal. Your body is doing a whole lot of adjusting right now and will continue to for the next several months. Most women do have an increase in their bra size...but sometimes it is only temporary. I wouldn't go our and but a whole new lingerie wardrobe...but a couple of good sport support bras for now until you are done changing.
It is common during the pregnancy to increase a half or even a full cup size and then after the baby is born and your milk comes in....they get huge! This can last a few days or even a few months until you establish a regular milk supply.
The pain that you are feeling can be caused by increased blood flow in your body. Try and take it easy and a good massage now and then will help!
Good luck and Congrats!

I didn't think that my breasts had gotten much larger, but I couldn't wear any of my current bras--they were getting tight around my chest. I also found that I couldn't wear bras with wires, which was most of my bra collection. I was only 9 weeks along when I went to Victorias Secret and tried on bras, and at that point I was surprised to find that I had gone from a 36 C to a 38 D. The bras I found most comfortable (a little pricey, but worth it) were the IPEX--and the wireless ones fit so nice. They actually don't fit like they are wireless at all.
So, YES, you could need a bigger bra size and not even realize it. The back and neck pain could very well be related. With me, they didn't appear that much bigger, but when I tried on the bra, it was a relief, so I guess I needed to adjust!
As with all things related to pregnancy, everyone is different. The books will say one thing, but your body will do something totally different. People will say that you shouldn't have to buy new bras or maternity clothes until a certain time, but if you are uncomfortable, then listen to your body!

Yes, for most people bra size does change during and after pregnancy. The shoulder and neck pain sounds more like tension, though.
During pregnancy your lower and middle back hurt more than in the shoulders and neck, generally, because those are the parts of your body that have to support the added weight from breast weight.
Notice your breathing when you are planning or thinking about pregnancy/the baby/your relationship with the father, etc. or it might be something else. If you're holding your breath, it may be that you are holding that tension in your shoulders, etc. Remember to breathe and take deep breaths to help you stay normal/relaxed.

An increase in breast size is one of the first signs of pregnancy. Breasts usually become enlarged in the first trimester because of increased levels of estrogen and progesterone. That growth in the first trimester isn't the end, your breasts can continue to grow throughout your pregnancy
In addition to the size of your breasts, your bra size may be affected by your rib cage. your lung capacity increases so you can take in extra oxygen for yourself and the baby, which may result in a bigger chest size.
So, You may need to replace your bras several times over the course of your pregnancy.

You can definitely have back pain and it doesn't necessarily have to do with your bra size. But your breast will get bigger at some point in your pregnancy. Even if you don't think they are any bigger, you may need a more supportive bra than the one you are wearing.

Yes, you can get back pain that is completely unrelated to your breasts during pregnancy. It is a side effect of pregnancy. Wait until your breasts increase in size to get a larger bra.

Back pain stems from the weight of the baby and it effects your equillibreum, and how you position your self when you sleep. Your bra size really has nothing to do with it. You might want to purchase a good support bra just for comfort.

your whole body is going through a lot of changes, and there will be plenty of aches and pains because of it. you're carrying more weight up front on your belly, so your back will definetly pay the price for that. before i had my kids, my bra size was a 36B. by the time i was breastfeeding, i was a 38D. after i was done breastfeeding, i was a 36C. it's different for everybody, but most likely you will need to get some bigger sizes eventually. best of luck!
