I have had 2 miscarriages in the last 18 months. One at 7 weeks & one at 9. We are trying again. I would really like to hear some suggestions from people who have had this and gone on to carry successfully. Is there anything we could try? Thankyou.

Apart from taking it easy and having a good lifestyle (right food and exercise etc) i dont think there is much you can do.
Have you had a test for "sticky blood" its a common reason for miscarriages as the blood doesnt flow to the foetus well and clots. It is very treatable for those who have it.
My mum had 10 miscarriages and then miscarried so i know how hard it must be for you.
if you have 3 miscarriages in a row then they start (or should start) to test you to see if there are any problems.
Take it easy and make sure trying for babies remains fun!
good luck!

I've had 3 miscarraiges and one stillborn
Get your man to take zinc tablets cos it makes his little boys strong.

When trying,
Do it every other day,
Exactly 10-16 days before your next period is due.

Relax and put a cushion under your bum
When he's done his bit send him to make you a cuppa
Lay on your back and raise your legs in the air as high as you can and stay like that for 10 minutes.

I did this on two difference occasions and both times I conceived.

As for staying pregnant I can honestly say that it will happen,
Don't do anything for the 1st 14 weeks.

You must not think about your grief right now as you must not get stressed.
This is a fresh start and a new life.

I also have 3 children as well as my losses, and when you hold that baby in your arms, you do forget the pain.

Good luck

Hi - I think dont put such pressure on yourself is a great place to start. Forget about having sex to create a baby, why not have sex because its fun? Then if you do get pregnant, bonus! Your body reacts to the stress being put on it by actively TRYING to conceive, so give it a helping hand and enjoy the ride...so to speak!! Im sorry to hear about your miscarriages tho, thats heartbreaking. Perhaps a trip to the gyno / obs would also be helpful, just to rule out any hidden probs? Good luck and above all, enjoy yourself xxxx

the first rule after a miscarriage is to try for the next one after 6 months.around that time while planning for ur next baby, the doctor normally advises u to take folic acid tablets and probably prenatal tablets.also u need to do a few tests which ur doctor will advise u to rule out any infections due to which u may be suffering a miscarriage.eat right.eat healthy.also just relax and dont take any stress.it is actually reasoned out that one of the reasons why there is a miscarriage is thatthere must be something wrong with the foetus and therefore the body itself rejects it.good luck.

I would consult with a reproductive endocrinologist. They work hand in hand with your gynecologist. I had a miscarriage at 22.5 weeks. Once we got an RE involved, that narrows down what processes need to be done to get you the healthy, beautiful baby or babies of your dreams.

all i can think of is that you take the first 12 weeks of work and move about as little as possible, after you make love lye on your bed with your pillow under your bum and your legs up the wall, it sounds silly lol but itll help the sperm swim up. goodluck xox
