Best mascara?

Question

What is the best mascara out there today?

I've been using the same mascara for a long time but lately I haven't liked it and want to switch.

I usually buy this at a drug store or Target (somewhere like that)..the only "fancier" more expensive makeup counter I ever shop at is Clinique so that's fine too.

Any suggestions for a waterproof volumizing mascara (my lashes are really thin)?

Cover Girl: professional mascara, LashExact mascara

Estee Lauder: XL

Maybelline: Volum express turbo boost mascara


and honestly these were the ones that worked great

Alot of people here will name specific brands that they think are great but may not be great for you. Just because people on commercials say that Cover Girl or Avon or Maybelline have the best mascara doesn't mean they really do. Try different mascaras until you find the kind you really like. The only thing I really recommend is getting one with a conditioner wand too. You apply it on your lashes before the mascara and it goes on white. (no it doesn't make them white) it's just like conditioner for your hair and it prevents your lashes from hardening or breaking off.

My favorite mascara that I have used the last few years is Rimmel Extra Super Lash mascara. It's thick enough to make your lashes appear fuller but creamy enough so that it doesn't clump. I also like the fact that it never leaves flakes or marks under my eyes. It's about $3 at Walmart.

I buy my makeup in the drug store and at the cosmetic counter. The best mascara I've run into, so far, is Lash Exact from Cover Girl. It's the one in the purple bottle. It makes your lashes super long and thick...I've been asked if I was wearing false eyelashes. I learned about it through Lucky magazine who also gave it rave reviews.

Avon claims to have one that's even better (no clumping) but I don't think it's as dramatic.

My #2 fave is L'oreal Voluminous.

Lately I 've been using Cover Girls Lash Exact. Love the results.

My Avon Lady has been trying to get me to try their new Super Full mascara. I think it will be next on my list. If you don't know anyone selling Avon, you can find one near you on the avon.com website. Sometimes an Avon rep will set up a table with items for sale at a flea market or style show, so watch for those too.

The best mascara that I've come across is Almay's mascara. I use the lengthening - one coat nourishing mascara! It's wonderful!

XXL by Maybelline. it gives Volume and Length to your eyelashes. They are great, they do not fall off during the day and are dark and make your eyelashes beautifully long.

I like Bonnebell's mascara. It doesn't clump easily. Or you can try Mabelline. Bonnebell and Mabelline are my favorites.
