I've got the receipt. What do I tell the people at a certain retail chain that it's not working correctly?I played it.
Because I like this artist and b. just to see if it would work and c. I wanted to hear my favorite songs and It's a greatest hits cd. The other 2 I bought work fine. This has happen to me before from the same store but differant cd.

Just go to the store and tell them that both cds don't work don't say one doesn't work because that's a little odd. And tell them it's defective. Also since you had the same problem at the same store with a different cd I would just ask for money back and go to another store that sells cds i'm sure they'll have it there to. If they won't give money back then get the same cd and hopefully i'll work.

Good Luck

Most stores with a receipt will replace the CD. Just tell them it is defective.

There shouldn't be a problem (other than standing in a long line and potentially rude customer service people) with returning the CD. Just tell them what you told us.

actually purchase yet another reproduction. The scratch is the reason, any scratch on Gears 2 will reason it to fail miserably and hence be unwatchable. you need to attempt to purchase a PS3, also, because it ought to manage Gears a lot more beneficial than a each and daily DVD participant. good success, its fantastic!

this may be a stupid question, but are you sure both discs are CDs? i've bought more than a few multi-disc sets assuming both were CDs but some have actually included one CD & one DVD.

Bring it back to the store with a receipt and get them to listen to it and you might be able to exchange it.
