just put them together in a safe environment, with a selection of play (activity) materials and let them get on with it.

They will devise their own means of communicating naturally.

Have you observed them together? Sometimes children instinctively know how to communicate. Maybe some common pictures with the languages written in both languages will help. Just my humble opinion. Good Luck

try one of those portable dictionaries where you type in a word and it translates it for ya.

don't forget that most of our communication is our emotions, our body language, a smile, a laugh, a scream, a toss, etc. and not always words. you don't have to speak the same language as somebody else to play basketball; just offer a ball, and show a hoop. similar with video games, and any other engaging activities.

Children can communicate thru play. I believe if left to their own devivces they could become good friends just by playing together!

give them some toys and watch the miracle of youth, they'll figure out a way within minutes.

if it is online, then some games might have translators for different languages

idk for "up-close and personal" play though
