uninstalling sims house party?

Question

I installed the sims house party after installing the sims deluxe and now cant get either to play. When i launch, it says "It has come to our attention that you have installed another sims expansion pack after the sims deluxe edition. For this to work properly, the sims deluxe edition installer will now update your installation." then it goes into updating network drivers and says "drivers for network adapters successfully installed and goes no further. does this every time i try to play and now i cant uninstall either

The same used to happen with me. What you have to do is go to...

Control Panel --> Add or Remove Programs --> Then look for the Sims Deluxe and/or House Party. Remove it from your hard drive that way. Then, delete your temp files (optional) and empty your recycle bin and restart your computer. Hope this works!
