in my 1991 honda accord
there is smoke and oil comming out of the tailpipe?
I know there is a blown seal but can any one tell me which seal it might be

It is most likely bad pistons/rings. Valve seals will usually smoke on start up, but not be very noticeable running.

Another possibilit would be a bad PCV system. If that is not working, the engine won't "breathe" and oil will leak out past seals, gaskets and rings. Check it (PCV system) first, then start shopping for a mechanic.

Those would be the valve seals. The motor needs to be overhauled. You have not indicated the mileage but a 16 year old car is at the end of its life unless major repairs keep it going.

sell it, the engine is shot,16yrs old ,so is the rest of the car
