I had a document up, and it didn't save because I have low disk space, so there was no AutoRecovery I guess. I clicked out of an internet window and then the doc just kind of froze up. I could change the size of the window, but I couldn't scroll up or down or type in the document. I did the whole task manager thing, which showed it as non-repsonsive and now it's only on the bottom bar; I can't open it at all.

Now the window won't come up at all, the only thing it says I can do is close. I NEED to get the info in this doc, how can I get the window up and running again, or at least access the info? Remember, AutoRecovery isn't working.

Simply open the Word from your startmenu .But don't close the non responsive program. Select the 'open' from file menu and give the program path which consist the non responsive fule.

Since there was no auto recovery i guess you will not be able to view that file... Inorder to avoid this in future ensure that u have enough disk space.. u can also increase your virtual memory space using your memory management tool that is available in windows. if that is not possible then don't open too many files/programs simultaneousely in your computer

If you are that low on disk space, you will have problems like this quite often. Since auto-recovery is not working, you cannot save it and will not be able to recover it since it is not written to your hard drive.

You can try shutting as much as possible down to give resources to Word. And clean your hard drive. External storage is cheap.

If these things do not work you are out of luck.
