The zero is being used all over this World. Zero is used in almost all areas wherein people deal including sports. But people say zero has no value also. But people give value also viz., he is a millionaire, he is a crorepathi, etc.
Even in cricket game when a batsman scores 100 he gets recognition.

Thank you for reminding us. There are so many things that different people have discovered or created that serve all of us today. I am sure that the concept of zero was realized in different parts of the world but those who put it on paper first get the recognition.

The concept of zero does not exist in nature. It is a human INVENTION. And like all ancient inventions, there is some question as to who thought of it first. Personally, I think the Atlanteans had it and passed that knowledge to India long before our history began.

Did you know that they found some ancient Indian skeletons that are radioactive???

Which Indians..... not the american ones I hope! I understand there are two parallel claims to first invention of the concept of zero...... one is of course Indian and the other is Greek!! No matter whoever did, I believe it is one of the greatest by mankind... no less than Einstein's relativity or Newton's calculus..... we use out of box as a common phrase... it is only these kind of inventions that are truly out of box!!!

The correct word is invented, because it's a manmade invention. It is not a natural thing to be discovered. But, yes, it was invented in India. The people who say or think it was invented elsewhere are ignorant or mis-informed.
