No!

Can be a bit of a laugh, but madness to take it seriously!

If your ever lucky to meet a real f"fortune teller". They should not be charging you for what they, see, feel,or hear.
If you feel that you should give something that is fine. It really boils me to hear of people paying for insight that they all possess but refuse to see, hear, or feel.
If they need to make a living, they should get a job for number one. I've gone to many of these people claiming to have the gift. The funny thing is that only a small amount could tell before hand what I was. They would be pissed that my view is to give it free, and only except gifts when it would offend not to.
I use to be empathic, which was very hard for me. All I needed was to touch or be touched and it was like electricity being shot through me. I would know the pass present and some of their future.I prayed for years to be normal. The gift finally changed about twenty years ago. Now I have to clear my mind and breath normally. I see the paths in ones life, we all have many paths that cross an reconnect again. The closes I can to describe it is like a road map with different pages. some paths I see and know in which one will take, and other I know you will not. As for free will, yes we all have it.But only to a certain degree.
So yes I do believe in forsight, but also that there are plenty of people trying to make money any way they can even if it is hustling.

I am a total skeptic even though I have heard some pretty amazing stories. One of those stories was about an old black lady by the name of Jessie who lived in the city of Dallas back in the 50's and 60's. I heard from some pretty reliable sources that the police department consulted with her on a regular basis to look for clues to solve unsolvable crimes and to locate missing persons. Ok, I guess that does not really qualify as fortune telling but it is closely related.

I personally knew one woman who went to Jessie go get her fortune told. I should say that my friend was also a skeptic and only went on a dare from some of her friends. The first thing that Jessie told her when she arrived was, "Congratulation on your pregnancy...it is going to be a boy." My friend laughed and informed the psychic that she was absolutely NOT pregnant but Jessie insisted that she was. You can probably guess the punch line to this little story...a couple of weeks later my friend found out that she was indeed pregnant..and of course nine months later she did have a boy baby. Such stories do not prove that fortune telling is anything more than lucky guesses....but it does make you give it some serious thought.

They aren't called fortune tellers -- that puts us in the mind of the old Gypsy caravans who tricked people out of their money and disappeared into the night.

Nowadays, they are "psychics" and I DO believe. I have had my fortune told by a couple of crackpots, but mostly I have had only the very honest, barebones truth told to me, and it scared the holy hell right out of me because it was so dead on.

The first one gave names, dates, events and warnings, and, even after I said she had lost her mind, she gave her home address and told me to come to her house for more work.

She let me come to her house (for FREE!) and did hours of Reiki healing, Time Line therapy and other things that should have cost hundreds of dollars. She guided me through a very difficult time, and every word of what she told me came true.

All the names, dates and events were real, and this woman didn't know me from Eve in Eden. The events didn't happen until the end of the year, but exactly when she told me they would.

How could I not believe after that happened? There was no guesswork there...

I Believe in Some fortune tellers...
Those that use the Tarot cards and a qualified palm reader.

I use Tarot cards and Anyone, that i've fortelled their future, with Tarot cards, come back for another reading, as their reading came true.
I don't ask for money and wont accept payment... I do Tarot readings, because i want to.... Not for money!

I dont think they are referred to as fortune tellers, that is old Brighton Pier 1980s. I believe there are some people who have a gift and can contact spirits and pass messages on.

Sigh we are NOT fortune tellers!!!! There are those of us who truly have the gift and give out readings for free people. I had to limit mine to just answers cause I was getting eat up with emails. Not all of us are out to make a fast buck. Some of us take this gift very seriously and think its a crime for those who do not. In the end though, it comes down to how you believe.

Tricky one.. well not really no i don't believe in them and the only reason some people do is because they think about what the fortune teller says and they lead themselves to believe her/him think about it she can predict things she cant make them happen! x =D

I believe some people are truly gifted. I also believe the ones who do it for a living, do it just for the money. If they were truly gifted they would not charge people to help them with their problems.

People who say no, they don't believe in them have never experienced a good reading with a truly gifted soul. So they have no right to judge.
