CCleaner is a freeware system optimization and privacy tool. It removes unused files from your system - allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities such as your Internet history. But the best part is that it's fast (normally taking less than a second to run) and contains NO Spyware or Adware! :)

Backup all data that you think is important, format hdd and install fresh, use the backups to replace any files that you feel are needed, then make a FULL SYSTEM Backup, should take about 5 CD-RWs.
Problem solved, now everytime you make a change to the System, buy 5 more CD-RWs and make a new set of Backups. Save the orignal backups cause it worked with them.

what are these errors?
you cant just get a program to clean a hard ware clash or if you have 3 shared dlls, you might clear the wrong settings
what errors do you have? as this would be more useful to give a more accurate answer

A good place to start is http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk in the forums. You will need to register with them - a good place full of very knowledgeable people. I have used it myself quite often.
