Leg wax often finds its way onto our carpets, area rugs, or upholstery. How this happens is no real mystery, as many people wax their legs while watching tv....

If this happens to you, simply freeze the wax with an ice cube or ice pack. You can also use a commercial product that is designed to freeze wax on carpeting or upholstery. Once the wax is frozen, use a clean, blunt object to shatter the wax. Immediately pick up or vacuum the pieces of wax from the area. If you wait too long and the pieces soften, then you will need to refreeze them.

You will need:
paper towels
old pillowcase or old cotton towels
iron
place the paper towels over the wax put towel over that & use a dry iron moving it around frequently. The paper towels will have to be changed out as they absorbe the wax. It will take a large amount of paper towels to get it all out.

Carefully heat your iron to mid temperature and iron a tea towel or rag over the mark. I should absorb the wax.

get a hair dryer

gently heat the wax up (mind not to burn the carpet )
low heat is best and as the wax softens wipe it up with a slightly damp cloth
