Butkus or Singletary. Butkus was the most aggressive player I've ever seen. He once called a timeout with a few seconds left in a game that was out of hand so that he could get one more hit in. Singletary was the one of the smartest LB's to play the game. He could call the opponents plays almost as well as the opposing QB. Besides, who could look into those eyes and not want to run in the other direction very fast?

I like Mike Singletary and also Dick Butkus...current players who might make my list are Junior Seau and Ray Lewis, oh, and Zach Thomas would be up there as well.

LT (yeah he was coked up but he revolutionized the position) or Mike Singletary (a true field general).

Scott Studwell from the 80's Vikings.
He had a 250 tackle season. He always had a smile on his face, and other people's blood on his clothes.
