Wow. You got some doozies for answers to this question! What fun!
In any case, cats did not evolve from monkeys. Presuming you believe in science and evolution, fossil evidence suggests that felines have existed longer than apes and monkeys. That said, monkeys did not evolve from cats, either! Both being mammals, it is likely they evolved from some common ancestors, but there is no way to know for sure.
If you do not believe in evolution, then you've got pretty much the same answer. No! Cats did not evolve from monkeys! :-)

have never seen a "MONKIE". But no, cats did not evolve from MONKEYS. I once had a cat who looked like a monkey! but that's only because I put on a funny cap on her head.

Apparantly there was this magical thing called God who magically created everything the way it is today. That's why we have different races of people. God made them that way, they couldn't have evolved according to their environment. It also explains why there are fossils of animals no longer around, God put them there to test our faith. So of course not, nothing evolved from anything. That wouldn't make any sense now would it? It can all be explained by magic, and a book written a few thousand years ago by God to show us how to subjugate non-white Christians and animals. See? It all makes perfect sense. It's magic, but don't tell the Christians, they don't believe in magic, just miracles and stories.

nope- I believe they actually came from the ground dwelling shrews. Fossil evidence (And current theory) suggests that the first mammals were all like the ground dwelling shrews. After a while, some went up in the trees and became arboreal (to monkeys, sloths, etc) and others stayed on the ground and became most of the ground dwelling mammals.

no. each animal was created by god individually. you can't "evolve" into something else, no matter how long it has been around (as evolutionists say millions or thousands of years). ask yourself" if a monkeys' family just kept growing and all they bred with were monkeys, how can they grow into humans or even be related to humans?" also, you can't breed different types of animals. example a dog and cat they can't have offspring. so it is impossibble for a cat to evolve from a monkey, let alone, any animal evolve from anything but its created by GOD!

Not even in Darwin's misguided concept of evolution could cats have evolved from monkies.
Please - God created the heavens and the earth and all living creatures on it.

No, but cats and monkeys have the same biological ancestors.
More directly, humans and monkeys have the same ancestors but the speces diverged around 5 million years ago.
