put fuel stabilizer in it from any auto parts store, like you would a boat when you winterize it. the only time gas goes bad is when it gets water in it or after a while it goes " stale" it will kind of jelly up. just put in the stabilizer and it should last at least 6 months.

However, my dad always said it will last approximately 6 months, depending on the type of gas. He kept his in a sealed metal container. Definitely check with the fire department.

I have heard up to 1 year, if it is stored correctly and if you had some fuel stabilizer as well.

Now days the gas is only good for around 30-60 days unless you add some activties to it.

depends on conditions but no more than 6 months. gas keeps best at consistent temp. out of sun and little movement.
