I think for me it's my Aunt. I watched her make all her dreams come true.

My aunt is the best example not only to me but to plenty of other people in describing the most influential person (in my life). She was in an abusive relationship for 11 years, it had her helpless on drugs and also not caring at all about if her house was clean or if her daughters went to school. One day she found the strength to get rid of my uncle (her husband) by getting up early one morning and going to get a restraining order. The cops got him out. She started her life over it was hard in the beginning but she did it. Now she has a very nice clean and furnished house, a car, she now has money in her pocket to go on outings with her daughters and finally has a job that she has kept for 8 months. I am very proud of her. If she can do it also can anyone else!

My GreatGran..She was a woman before her time. She didn't believe in putting up w' anything off of a man..she went out and worked her butt off when all her friends were sitting at home being the norm and she got advice from her employers on how to invest her money back when women didn't really do any of that. She was a strong woman w' a will to live her life the way she saw fit and didn't matter what any one else had to say about it.
When all those old friends were trying to live off of social security and what their husbands had managed to leave them and complaining ..my Gran was sitting plush on her hard earned savings and investments that they had all sneered at back then! lol She was a woman of principle and integrity...but she had her own views of what that could mean for a woman.

For me it's my dad, because he always knows that I'll be okay. There are many things that go unspoken between he and I because we just know. He knows that I'm going to get through whatever I have to, and I know that he's always there for me. He's always believed in me and never given me negativity with anything I've ever screwed up. And we have a lot in common, really....we spent a lot of time together when I was a kid, watching movies and going camping, among other things, and whenever I had a question, he'd always have a good answer for me....he is definitely the best dad a girl could ever have...at least for me :)

My Dad was the most influential person and even though he's gone now I'm still influenced by how he lived his life.

I do not have one exact person who has been the best in my life. I think everyone close to me has contributed to making me a better person. Everyone I know is different and I learn from the mistakes, failures, and successes of each person and still hold them high up there.

My grand mom. I was the only child out of all her grandchildren that would ask her questions about her life growing up. She had the best stories and I've learned to much from her. From time to time I can still here her voice of wisdom even though she passes away years ago.

Definitely my dad. As I get older, I constantly find myself doing or saying things like my dad does. It's really scary sometimes, but in the end it makes me happy b/c there's nobody else I'd rather be more like. He's a good man, father, and husband.

Good question.

My friend Lois. She passed away several years ago. She was the best friend I ever had. She never directed me in the wrong way. She was always so loving and non judgemental. I truly do miss her. She truly made an impact in my life.
