My dad has played the guitar for YEARS and definately knows his guitars and he was watching the ESTEBON guitars on TV and he said it looked like a pretty good kit and it looked like it would be a good guitar especially for beginners..They have a package on HSN that came with a guitar, a case, and even a small amp! and it wasn't ALOT of $$.

.Hope this helps!

electric or acoustic? For beginner-I'd say electric go for a fender squire. They're $99 and there may be specials on amps this time of year too.
