Due to quitting my job with the state 5 weeks before I found out that I was 7weeks pregnant I have insurance issues as well. I called a OB/GYN that I was previously a patient of to be seen. He only charged my $125 for the initial visit and a sonogram. Worth much more that in the piece of mind that it will give you.
Good Luck to you

its possible to be further along. However everyone develops differently. My pants felt tight about then. And sleeping is just uncomfy when you're pregnant, it gets worse the farther along you get, but even in the begining the hormones are enough to make you sore ALL the time.
You can go to a clinic or the planned parenthood until you're insurance kicks in.
Painful period like cramps are normal for the early parts of pregnancy. So long as you're not bleeding (filling a pad and passing clots) then you're fine.

Dear Megan,
PLEASE go to the doctor, hon. There might not be something right going on in your body. When you are pregnant you should take periodic check-ups with the doctor to make sure all is okay with you and your baby. Try seeing if you have a doctor or something in your family or the best option would be go to a clinic and get Medicaide. Eat healthy foods if you can't get any prenatal vitamins and make sure that you have a support system of women who are either mothers or are pregnant. Or you could ask a church to help you out with your insurance problem or your family if you are planning to have them involved. Pray, pray, and pray! That's all I can really give you. Good luck on your new baby!

Sounds like normal early pregnancy gas. Go get a book called " what to expect when you are expecting" by Heidi Murkoff. It's the pregnancy bible and will help with all these questions. I refer to it almost daily right now and I am due Feb 2, 2007. Your question as well as many others that you would not expect is in there. It's excellent in describing all of these little things that worry moms and help distinguish when something is "normal" or not.
Good Luck!

Go to a clinic for pregnancy if you really don’t think you can go to your doctor due to insurance reasons. But you should try to go as soon as possible because you never know if something could be wrong that needs to be taken care of right away

that early in pregnancy, it's extremely common to bloat. I am constantly bloated and have the same problem and i'm only 8 wks. Every one is different, but it is normal to mistake your bloating for pregnancy belly.
But it is a definate possibility that you did have a period and are further along.

It is definitely possible to be further along than you think. It can be common to still have a menstrual cycle even if you're pregnant.
