Is there any hope at all of maybe seeing Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, and John Paul Jones play live ever again?I was born in 1970 and missed out on their tours because I was too young.

If Page and Plant settle their childish differences with John Paul Jones, they most likely will unite sometime in the near future. For the Page and Plant tour, it was a crying shame to see Page and Plant on stage at the Jones Beach outdoor Theatre on Long Island, NY, without their mate J.P. Jones. On the first Zepplin album, Jones's bass line set the tempo for the rest of Zepplin to follow.

I'm not sure. I was a massive fan as a teenager and got to see the Page & Plant tour in the late nineties. I'm not sure what John Paul Jones is up to these days but I don't think he's been involved in any of the Page & Plant projects. :-/

That's a question Zepp fans have been asking for over 25 years now. No one really knows & if ever it were to happen, it'd be a sudden, big announcement online &/or on practically every classic rock radio station. One gets the impression there's some sort of beef between Plant/Page & JPJ.

I´ve heard like 2 or 3 years ago that Dave Grohl was going to ply drums in that Led Zeppelin reunion but nothing has happened yet

Check out the Led Zepplin webpage. Better yet if you have a myspace account invite them to be a friend ~ that way you can subscribe to their blog & stay up-to-date with all of their concert tours! Good Luck! I loved them in the 70's!

I thought they got together for Live Aid?

Didn't they do that for Live Aid with Jason Bonham playing the drums?

Or maybe it was the first Farm Aid?
