I wear medium sized shirts, but when I bought a medium sized jacket, it was fairly small on me. Should I always buy one size larger?

Depends on how you want it to fit.

The style with some jackets is to fit short and tight..most women's styles anyway.

Remember when buying a jacket you wear it over other clothes. So buying a little larger can't hurt either.

i always try to figure out what I will be wearing with a jacket before I buy it. Always try it on. If you will just be wearing t-shirt, then probably don't need a side up. but if you think at some point you will have a shirt and sweater go size up. I like my jackets bigger for some reason anyways so I always get a larger size.

Totally depends on why type of shirts you usually wear under the jacket. I wear form fitting clothes so, I like my jackets too look tapered. If you wear thick, bulky shirts underneath, get it a little bigger. PLUS - all brands and sizes are different. That may be a smaller medium than a medium in another brand. Most important is that you do not feel restricted and you feel good about how you look in it.

I suggest that before trying on the jacket, you dress as you usually do. If you normally dress in layers, of course you will need a size larger, but if you dress in T-shirts only, then the jacket size won't be as large. Just try it on and what is comfortable to you, buy.

If it is a winter jacket, I would buy a size larger size to allow for a really cold day when you want to wear a sweater under it.

yes, I always buy my jackets larger because I might want to wear layers of shirts under it. I wear medium shirts too but I try on my jackets and buy either large or extra large.

I would buy it 1 size bigger depending on how you want it to fit and if you plan to wear like a hoody underneath it.

I prefer hair which is shoulder length or longer, And also since that men who like women are more often then not straight, they like long hair because that looks more feminine, as most males have short hair.
