your thigh. The quadricep muscles and hamstrings surround this bone.

Think of where the bones are. It couldnt be B, C, or E because those bones are in the arm. So it must be either the femur or the tibia. Think of the location of those two bones. The femur is the only bone in the thigh, whereas the tibia is one of many bones in the lower leg (tibia, fibula, plus all the foot bones). So, which one would have to bear more weight? The femur.
