Don't tell him that, whatever you do! Not until you've worked out how he feels about you, anyway. Ask him out for a drink or a coffee, whatever, and test the water. Joke, be sexy, be fun and look as if you LIKE him, not LOVE him. You might scare the living daylights out of him if you put the word LOVE in the equation. or if you look at him with lost puppy eyes and say nothing.

First of all don't tell this person you love her right away.
Just ask her out to see a movie or something.
I was very very shy but I had learn that being shy won't take you
anywhere. Try to be yourself and believe in yourself and go ask her.
You are not asking her to merry you.

Your probably shy because you are afraid of being rejected by this person, however; if you don't tell him that you love him you may go on forever wishing you had told him or you may lose your chance to tell him! Who knows, he may love you too but just be afraid you're going to reject him! go for it!
