i cant w8 for it to come out either!last week i read on yahoo news though that JKR had some nightmare or sth like that and that she would like to postpone the release...i guess we still have time

The book has yet to have an official date, but looking at the history of when the Harry Potter books have been released....
1. Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone - June 26, 1997
2. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets - July 2, 1998
3. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban - September 8, 1999
4. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - July 8, 2000
5. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - June 21, 2003
6. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince - July 16, 2005
7. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (release date TBA)
Late June or early July seems most probable. Only Prisoner of Azkaban has a wacky September release date. I would guess late June, because that would be six months from the announcement of the name and that pre-orders for the book could be taken. It also fits with the previous release pattren (June, July, (September), July, June, July, and (?)) My guess is June 23, 2007. But that's only a guess at this point.

It will be released on July 16 of next year...for that is Harry Potter's birthday
