How many times will this come up? The driver was drunk, drunk drivers have accidents. He was driving too fast. Excessive speed causes accidents. So a drunk driver going too fast will definitely have an accident. Of the four people in the car, only one had a seat belt on. He was the only one to survive. This accident is a good advert for wearing seat belts. You are much more likely to die in car wreck if you don't wear one. It was an accident, pure and simple. It was a classic accident, alcohol, speed and not wearing seat belts. The only conspiracy involved was the three who decided not to buckle up.

We'll never know honestly. They say that the driver had alcohol in his system. But there were also papparazzi chasing them. I think that the whole thing was just a tragic accident. I'm pretty sure the papparazzi chasing her didn't want them to crash and die. I think some conspiracy theorists think that the car's brakes were cut, causing the wreck. Again, I just think that it was just a chain of events (partially anibrihated driver perhaps), papparazzi chasing them, maybe Diana and Dodi telling the driver to go faster to get away from the papparazzi.... we'll never know the truth. Whatever the case may be, it sucks.

It was an accident. Millions of pounds of tax payers money has been spent on costly investigations to tell us all what most of us already knew, they were driving too fast and she wasn't wearing a seat
belt.
The royal family didn't have her killed, she wasn't important enough to them anymore to go to such lengths. And it's not even factual that she was intending to marry Dodi Fayed. Some of her friends have said she was using him to make the heart surgeon she had her sights set on, jealous.
Can we all not just leave this alone now and move on, it's been almost ten years for crying out loud

I think it was just a car accident and that people do not want to believe that such a noble person could have died in such a common manner.

The driver was drunk and crashed. That's as real as it gets.

If you think the British royal family could have someone bumped off, your estimation of their power is much higher than mine.

It probably had more to do with excessive speed and a driver who was blitzed. Not a great combination, even for a celebrity.
