a playstation 3 has BUILT-IN memory. you have to use a memory card with the playstation 2.
i think that the playstation 3 has wireless internet.

Playstation 3 has newer more powerful hardware in it.
BUT the biggest difference is price.

Well PS3 has better graphics and a blu-ray disc player. PS2 does not.
But PS3 is a rip-ff in my opinion. Get xbox 360

there are a lot of diffrences but DO NOT buy the ps3 my son got it and it broke down the first day and we couldnt return it I didnt get my money back You would be better of getting a wii they are really cool and my son hasnt stopped playing since

PS3 has way better graphics and faster loading. PLus you can play way more games. PS2 is still great thogh.

better grapics on the ps3 and alot more freedom and things you can do with it. Like the cool cordless controller..........
