I had the same problems for years. I got the AT&T dsl and this includes all the bells and whistles. Sometimes I would try different free use aniti everything from NOD32 and all that give free trials. Some seem to find stuff that others don't.
Know with the dsl and yahoo built in now it cathes everything.
I haven't had a problem since. But I suggest you try some of the free ones and see what you may have. The spyware seems to be the most annoying thing if you at least get the yahoo browser you may be able to at least clean up the anit spy.

Go to Microsoft site and see for the helpline and put u r Question & the required system details( if space provided ) and might b u wud get the answer and hope u get the solution...........

Try using Mcafee anti virus software,its very good it will also deal with adware :)

I think Microsoft discontinued updating 98 and I'm not sure how
many of today's programs work with 98..you can update 98 to xp!
