You can also let them watch educational TV in the morning, and you should have about 3 to 6 hours between the two times.

So you would have an hour or two in the morning, and the same in the afternoon. You could also get a few in the evening after their bedtime.

It reallyh depends on the age of the kids, as younger kids need your attention more often.

I would use a timer and large clocks for the kids to view. Set a time for your "breaks" with special allowances for emergencies. Perhaps on the hour, you can take a break to check on them, answer quesitons, geta way from things for a while.
Tell the kids when your 'breaks' will be and plan on time with them then.

Also, during your breaks it's a good idea to use the timer to keep you from overdoing your breaks. Thus, you keep on track and your kids learn a good work ethic.
