At your age, I guess, something as a token of your 'friendship', you could think of a number of things, viz.: a nice card, a wallet, a decent perfume, a CD ROM, a nice book on friendship, a New Year Diary and so on...
The watchword is, the gift should be appropriate enough to reinforce the friendship without ever giving it any other meaning. At your age you must be focussing on your studies and the 'friendship' should just be a friendship. I hope you are not up to something else and it is a platonic friendship only...

14...16...If you were my daughter and you asked this question; let's just say...You would have more respect for yourself by now.
My girls do and boys are in no way a part of their life, except as friends. They put their minds into their school work, church activities, volunteering and just enjoying their youth. They prefer to wait a bit longer before dating.
To answer your question... GIVE ONLY YOUR FRIENDSHIP...NOTHING MORE.
