Have you tried talking to your school counselor? They can be a lot of help and they can help your school bully too.

At this age school is boring but keep in there... and education in priceless.

Once you get older you will learn to love school. Or in my case anyway.

I dropped out of college and started a family... I had 2 children and 8 months pregnant with my 3rd when I decided to go back to school and finish my college degree. It came so easy to me because I had something to focus on. I believed (and still do) that my children were my focus ~ they deserved a smart mom with a good paying job... and I am now able to show my children a good example.

Once you have expressed your feelings to your counselor and parent they will be able to get you on the right track. And the bully just picks on you because you have something they desire... whether it is confidence, intelligence, beauty, or pencils.

I'm a teacher and I absolutely agree with you. So, now what are you going to do? Maybe intelligently research and present a brilliant package to your parents about homeschooling? Get all the details, down to the LETTER ready. Really know what you're talking about when you present the idea to them. Also, discuss this idea on your own with your principle to gain a perspective that you might not have thought of. If you are just bored because you are a boring person with no imagination, it'll show in your reasoning about this issue. If you are a bright person in an excruciatingly boring situation (school), then that brilliance will show in your reasoning about this issue. In other words, put up or shut up. Good luck.

yeah, it can be very boring but imagine it as a game, and to get to higher levels (grades) you have to overcome obstacles along the way (homework, other students, teachers, etc.) Why are you being bullied? Whatever the reason, don't bully other people back. If it's mean words, ignore them to show your more mature. if it's physically, tell someone, nobody deserves to be bullied. As far as those pencils, get creative and decorate them with fun grips and erasers. Put pictures and stickers on your folders and notebooks. Remember, you go to school for a reason and it's all worth it in the end. Never give up! good luck.

Is school boring because you know the information already? Maybe you should be tested for a gifted program. My niece was bored in school in the 4th grade also. We found out she was excelling on a 10th grade level.

What would you do if you didn't go to school? What would you do when you become an adult with no education? How would you buy al of the things you want if you can't get a job?

No! I go to a catholic private school and basically none of the people I know (as in pupils) are very religious if at all. Also in this school I have met some of the most interesting, funny and energetic people I know. So what everyone says is just a stereotype. Although just to say it may also depend on the school but anyway good luck!!

I'm 14 and in the eighth grade... school is boring, stressful, difficult... Every morning, I wake up saying, "I hate school, I wish I didn't have to go." Some of my current and former teachers don't really teach... they just talk a lot and then give lots of homework, and we end up making 60's and 70's on our tests. Other teachers have favorites, and everyone's tired of the teacher letting the favorites perform exciting tasks and being excused from punishment when the class misbehaves (i'm thinking of a specific teacher right now...)

Science and social studies are boring subjects, but interesting teachers can change that. Teachers are supposed to be interesting like my 7th grade teachers, who made school fun.

Running out of pencils?? Every day, people ask to borrow my pencils, and they never return them. One day, there was a girl missing a pencil. I got up to do my presentation on Chinese New Year, and when I got up, my pencil was gone. Later on, in Language Arts class, I saw the pencil on her desk... I had expected something like that.

It sounds like school isn't boring to you... it's just full of unfortunate events.
