I need to find out how to prevent my domain name from being blacklisted/rejected by hotmail.
The domain is for a photography company and we send out mail shots to our registered website users. I have checked to see if we are blacklisted using various websites and they have all come back negative. It seems that only recently our emails have not been getting through to our Hotmail users which account for over 59% of our database.
I have setup and initiated an SPF record for our domain name and we stick as closely to guidelines of the amount of emails to send out in any given period of time. We do use PHPList (www.phplist.com) software to send directly from our own dedicated web server but this doesn't have the facility of detecting spammable keywords or phrases in our emails.

Has anyone got any ideas?

Not sure about hotmail... But with AOL we had to register with them so that we could email numerous clients at the same time and not be considered as spam...

I am sure hotmail must have something similar.... Try the link below... I hope this helps...
