Oh my Lord! You aren't talking about your Wedding Veil are you? I've gotten hair dye on things in the past and I haven't been able to get it out. I tried all sorts of home products including dabbing bleach on the stain. I think you should take it to a professional, though....they may have more options

Good Luck!

Bad news I'm afraid. It's permanent. If anything will help mix 1/4 cup hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle of cool water. Spray that on the carpet and let it set for a few minutes. Blot off. Do not rub; you'll rub the stain further in.

Now peroxide is bleach. Color test an out of the way spot first to see if it will bleach out your veil.

Always rinse your veil with vinegar and water after.

If that doesn't help, try the heat transfer method.

Take a clean white terry towel and warm your iron to medium. Again test on a small area of the hair dye first. Heat will definitely set the stain.

Put the towel down (small spot only) put your iron on the towel for 3 seconds only. Any longer and the veil will scorch. Sometimes the heat from the iron will transfer the stain to the towel. The stain will not come out of the towel, but don't use anything but a very clean white towel or the color will transfer to the veil.

Good luck.. you may need it

you proabaly wont get it out. hair dye DYES the material. It changes the color. You could try to bleach it but it will most likely leave a spot. Ask the drycleaners
