I have the White iPod Video 30GB since July. It works great!

It depends on several factors: 1) How much you want to spend; 2) How much storage capacity you want; 3) What added features you want (like FM radio, voice recording, etc.). One player I particularly like is the 8GB TrekStor Vibez, which you can buy online for about $170. It's sexy as hell and comes with an FM tuner, voice recorder, and even a line-in recorder. Hard to beat.

Definitely compare features before just jumping to ipod. Especially if you don't need the storage space... plus Apple doesn't really support you if you use the Ipod with Windows. (kicked a few friends from the phone because they didn't use macs)

I got a video iPOD, 80 gig for Xmas.....works great.
