Does your wrist and hand go numb to if yes its probably over using your arm . If i knit for to long my arm and hand is numb for ages if your worried phone N H S direct they will help

this could be the begining signs of a heart attack if your having chest pains see a doctor immediately. If you were sleeping on your left arm it could be a sleep still. But in some cases this is caused by back or pinched nerve. see a chiropracter.

When do you feel the numbness: when you wake up, all of the time, etc.

Which part of the arm is numb: forearm, whole thing, one side, etc

When did it start?

any shortness of breath?

Although it could be something as simple as a pinched nerve or having "slept wrong" - it is also a sign of heart trouble - call your doctor immediately for an appt. or go to the ER if you can't get in to see a doctor.

not good. go to the dr. could be your heart or a stroke but let the dr evaluate it. check out the symptoms on the internet also.
