I don't think that it makes her a bad role model. Kids do all kinds of things. Everyone has stuck their middle finger up but just never caught on camera. She was probably hanging out with her friends and they took pictures.
For example, hiliary duff is seen as a good role model but she has a sailors mouth. Its just that she was taught to just act like that around family members not in public.
It still does not make them a bad role model.
