I have changed the fuel injectors and fuel line but it still does the same thing. Does anyone have any suggestions on what the problem is?

If the vehicle only does this after PROLONGED parking then I would say that your fuel system is draining back into the tank. Most likely culprit would be the fuel pump is starting to go bad.

If it does it anytime the engine is cold, then my 1st guess would be the cold start system.

When you go out tomorrow morning. Leave your drivers door open and turn the key to the run position (not start) and see how long you hear the hum of the fuel pump running.

think ofyou've have been given a crack on your distribution capwhich will widen with warmth. you're starting to be a foul starter. Your alternator/battery could be going. confusing to describe this yet whilst the vehicle has sat and cooled down, say over night, the battery has had a large gamble to take a seat down back and sorta revitalize. So once you get on your automobile you get a solid turn and initiate. then you definately tension it and the vehicle heats up as nicely because of the fact the battery. if the battery is susceptible or the alternator is undesirable then once you attempt to start it after working a on an identical time because it is going to on no account be a solid crank or initiate. Get your battery examine first, and replace it if mandatory. If that doesn't artwork you're able to wish a clean alternator because of the fact it is not charging your battery properly.

fuel pump. I think yours is throttle body(2 injectors), the vortec did not come out until '95 (uses(8) CSPI-central sequential port injection-I call it a pain in the ars and expensive).
if you change pump, make sure you change the inline filter, even though you may have changed it .
