No idea but how about

1) Give some background to the debate: ie state what it is about and who the respondants were.

2) State the intent of the questionnaire.

Discuss the results and say "opinon was divided broadly as follows x and y or whatever

Detail each opinion more specifically, maybe quoting specific examples if it is permitted.

Summarise and state any actions that will take place as a result of the debate.

Hope that helps!!

You will need to marshall your arguments, for and against. Some research is involved because you will need statistics (an argument is only worth debating if it involves a substantial # of people or is a source of great public debate). You will also need quotes from credible experts on the subject (Stephen Hawking said...) Some quotes from respected magazines are helpful too, as are quotes or opinions from people who have been through the experience. Good Luck to you...

List the good points for both points of view and give specific and general examples to support your assertions in both the negative and affirmative. BE SURE you NEVER use the 1st pronoun (I, me, we, us, our, ours) because then you are inserting your opinion into the debate. Stay objective. To begin, I would make a statement such as, "The United States made a mistake by attacking Iraq." Then list the negative reasons and then disagree and list the positive reasons. That should give you a good two sided debate. REMEMBER, NO first person pronouns, God luck.

Chow!!!

Although IVF Treatment has helped single prospective parents or parents of relatively advanced age, lesbian couples, carriers of a genetic disease, or a woman who wishes to conceive the child of her terminally ill or deceased partner, these very same people are refused treatment in cases which are seen as increased medical and/or psychosocial risk. The arguments against treatment mainly concerned psychological instability and the quality of life of the future child and were rooted in the harm principle.

-have an introduction then:
-some people think this (talk about one point of view)...
-while others think this (talk about the other pint of view)

make a point about something
give it some evidence
and back it up with an explenation

Point
Evidence
Explain

thats what weve been taught to do,
it may not be that exicting but it works!

I hope this helps you and good luck on your debate!

it's good to include personal argument in debates except to a certain extent-shows intelligence and critical thinking,as well as self-confidence as you're brave enough to publicly state and defend your opinions.but when it gets too personal and one brings emotion into the picture,it goes bad.

debating normally involves your own viewpoint but if you can't do that, use pros and cons/positives and negatives.

Always write intro, write brief view society has on topic and brief pros and cons of it

Show cohesion (follow paragraphs on from last)

Include facts, include friends/family's viewpoint

Always conclude with a summary

good luck..........
