In the thumb area of michigan, I have seen the prices of about 3.00 per hour to down to like 2.50 an hour for putting a child into daycare, and its cheaper for a second child usually.

Your gonna have a hard time finding a day care that will allow you to only bring your child 2 days a week. Most day care centers and in home day cares are going to charge you for a full week to "hold that child a spot". The average in NC is 30-35 bucks a day for daycare. I am not a registered daycare but, I do keep kids for friends (on an as need basis). I only charge by the days they are here. I dont feel I have the right to make someone pay when I am not "working". I wish you the best of luck. Child care issues are always stressful

This is going to depend greatly on the day care center you choose. Some centers will not offer part-time care and those that do will have varying prices which will be determined by things like hours, meals provided, transportation services, and other factors. Your best course of action would be to visit several centers until you find some that you like and go from there.

We used to live in Warren, and our kids were at a private home daycare. It was actually run out of her home, but she had the basement converted into a separate center just for the kids. For our 3 month old son who went two days a week (full days) it was $100 per week.
